Mr Tschanz was one of my teachers at Capital Baptist School from 1988-1992. He was very well loved and a favorite teacher to MANY students. Very sorry to hear of his passing and wanted to send my condolences.

Mr T was one of my favorite teachers of all time. He brought life and fun to learning. So many fond memories: his made up songs on his homemade ukulele, the scientific theory of the chemical reaction between crackers and jalapenos, would these chemicals actually explode... Over the years students have recalled many a fun story and often wondered how he was doing and where he was. He definitely left a mark on this world and has helped shaped so many lives. <3

Mr Tschanz was one of my favorite teachers in high school. I was just talking about him the other day, wondering what had happened to him. He will be greatly missed.

God brought Mr. Tschanz into my life my 7th grade year at Capitol Baptist School (Dover, DE).
The man was the definition of strength to me in so many ways. ... blessed to have known him, ... privileged to have been taught by him, ...broken at the knowledge of losing him, ... rejoicing that I will see him again. Coach, Teacher, Mentor, Friend, ... You will be greatly missed.

One of my favorite teachers. He wrote a song on guitar about me graciously accepting demerits and acknowledging my wrong doing with humility. Thank you Mr Tcshanz for all you taught us. Still can’t probably spell your name right haha. Rest In Peace my friend.

Mr.Tschanz was my teacher from 7-8 grade when I attended Capital Baptist School from 98-2000. He was my absolute favorite. He was strong and intelligent and he brought out the best in his students with his teaching style. He was fair, even tempered and a joy to be in a classroom with him. He used engage himself with the students by involving himself in the student bake sale activities which was always fun for the students. He was a good person in and out of the classroom and he will truly be missed. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
