RONALD ALLEN COX Sr.

     Ronald Allen Cox Sr. of Cape Coral, Florida passed away unexpectedly on March 16th, 2024 at Health Park Medical in Fort Myers, at the age of 57 years. 

     He was born in Ottawa, Ohio and was a long time resident of Browns Mills, Pemberton Twp., NJ before moving to Florida. Ron worked in the Army as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal Specialist for 4 years, then moved on to work at Burlington County Jail where he retired as Warden.

     Ron enjoyed being a football coach and being with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

     He was preceded in death by his father Robert Cox Sr. and sister Tammy Bacon.

     Ron is survived by his wife Sherri Cox, Daughter Brittany (Joe), sons Ronald Jr. (Sara), Derek (wife Darryl) and his grandkids Arianna, Kaylin, Ronald, Derek Jr, Gianna and Kade.  He is also survived by his mother Jean, sister Chris Hosler (Roger), brother Rob Cox (Connie), brother-in-law Colin Bacon and many nieces and nephews.

     Relatives and friend are invited to Ron's viewing and visitation Wednesday evening 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday morning 10:00 am to 11:00 am at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.  A service will be held at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

     Immediately following the service the interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton Township.
