Walter Lorenzo Barnhill Jr.

     Walter Lorenzo Barnhill Jr. of Browns Mills, age 77 years, passed away February 23, 2020 at home.

     Walter was born and a native of Philadelphia, PA until he joined the U.S. Army in 1961. Retired Sergeant 1st class veteran of Vietnam after 27 years of service.  He settled in Browns Mills, NJ in 1972. After retiring walter worked as a truck driver for the State of NJ. He was a member of St. Ann's Church in Browns Mills and the Browns Mills Memorial VFW Post # 6805.

     Beloved husband of the late Anna Karolina, dear father of Kay Frances Lugo of Nebraska and Dirk R. Barnhill of Browns Mills. He is survived by his sister Edith G. Kinney, 6 brothers; Clarence E., Philip, Nathaniel, Gregory, Curtis & Marvin and 3 grandchildren.

    
     Relatives and friends of Walter's family are invited to his viewing and visitation 12:00 Noon  to 1:30 PM Friday afternoon  at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, Pemberton Twp. where his funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM.
     Interment with military honors  will be 2:00 PM Monday afternoon, March 2, 2020 at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, North Hanover Twp.
