. William M. Pippin Jr, of Delanco, age 83 years, passed away January 1, 2022 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden.
Born in Riverside, he was a lifelong resident of the riverfront communities and a graduate of Palmyra High School. As a U.S. Army Veteran, he served as a military policeman in Germany and was a member of the 8th Airborne Division. Bill was a talented carpenter and retired from Carpet Factory Outlet, Trenton. Notably, he built a home for his family at the young age of 23. He enjoyed hunting with his sons and fishing with his dear friend, Chuck Tynon. He appreciated motorcycles, American bald eagles and time spent in nature, tinkering in the garage and creating unique spray painted sculptures with miscellaneous items he saved or found.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Patricia and son William David Pippin. He was beloved father of Joanne D'Angelo (Peter) and Jennifer Carpenter (Marc), stepfather of John (Karen), Dean (Bette Lou) and Travis (Kimberly) Grob, grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 7 and brother of Robert Pippin.
Funeral Services will be held 12:30 PM Tuesday afternoon January 11, 2022 at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside where there will be a viewing from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Interment BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, North Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08047.
