Virginia Wall, 80, of Browns Mills, NJ, our beloved mother and friend passed away on January 15, 2021.
She was born on October 24, 1940 in Bennettsville SC to Dupree and Alberta McNair. She married Jerome Don Wall and from that union they had two children. She is survived by her son, Donal McNair and daughter, Laura Goode. Virginia constantly desired to explore new careers and continue to learn and grow throughout her life. She had a wide range of professions. She retired as nurses Aide from Evergreen/Buttonwood Hospital but along the way she was a Politician, Bus Driver, School Cafe Assistant, Barber, Beautician, and the list goes on. She enjoyed cooking for others and loved to go vegetable and fresh fruit picking to create her special dishes. However, above all things she loved the Lord and was a faithful member of True Vine Memorial Baptist Church. Virginia also was a dedicated public servant. She was a volunteer at The Deborah Heart and Lung Center for over 30 years and served as a loving foster parent and mentor to many children from 1988 up until the day she transitioned.
Funeral services will be performed by the Rev. Paul Holloway at Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Rd. Browns Mills, NJ 08015. Public viewing 10:00am-11:15am, Virtual Service 11:30am, Public Burial 12:30pm at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, 217 Odd Fellows Rd, Pemberton, NJ 08068.
