VINCENT F. ("Vinny Pie") PIECZYNSKI

     Vincent Felix Pieczynski “Vinny Pie”, 14, of Southampton, NJ passed away on June 16, 2024. 

     Vinny was born in Voorhees, NJ prematurely weighing 2 lbs 1 oz. Vincent was a fighter from day one, never letting any challenge be too big for him. 

     Vinny really could light up a room. He was a kind, smart, funny, strong and hard working young man. Although Vincent’s passing came too fast, he lived a full life. He loved playing football and lacrosse, hanging out with his friends, going to the beach and Six Flags. 

     Vincent was a people person. Vinny would strike up a conversation with anyone, he was just that guy. No matter who Vinny came in contact with, he made them feel special because his heart was pure and made of gold. Vinny was also unapologetically himself. He knew what we wanted and what he didn’t want. And the things he wanted, he worked hard for. He was a 14 year old wise beyond his years. 

     Vincent was the best son, brother and friend a guy could ask for. He looked up to his big brother. The two were very close. We couldn’t be more proud of the beautiful young man Vincent grew to be. He did make it to that big school and he did love like no other. And even in Vinny’s final days, he was strong enough to save other lives with his gifts being an organ donor. Our family is finding peace knowing Vinny’s heart will beat on.

     Vincent is survived by his father Michael,  mother Melinda Tuccillo Pieczynski, brother Michael “Mikey”, sister Devin, brother in law Matthew Cuoco and niece, Olivia. Vinny is also survived by his grandparents, Catharine and Michael Pieczynski as well as Lynn and Alex Morris. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Vincent was preceded in death by his grandfather Ralph Tuccillo. 

     A service celebrating Vinny’s life will be held at Vincentown Methodist Church in Southampton, NJ. 97 Main St. Southampton Township, NJ 08088. The viewing will be Friday, June 28th from 5pm to 8pm. The funeral will be held Saturday from 9am to 11am.  The interment will follow at Pinelands Memorial Park & Cemetery, 84 Willow Grove Rd., Shamong, NJ. 

     In lieu of flowers, we ask you always keep Vincent alive in your heart and live like he would. That means be kind, funny, curious and hard working.
