TAKEKO M. JOHNSON

     On Wed. Jan. 12, 2022, the sweetest wife and mother, Takeko Mori Johnson, lost
her two-year battle with colon cancer. Takeko was born on Nov. 13, 1931, in Kita-
Matsuura-gun, Nagasaki-ken, Japan. Her mother, Kame Hatamura and father,
Tacihi Mori welcomed their second daughter, little sister to Takachan Mori.
Takeko met the love of her life, Leonard “Sonny” Johnson in Tachikawa, Japan.
Sonny was stationed there as an Air Force Master Sergeant (Ret.). Sonny and
Takeko spent 62 years married and devoted to one another. The Johnson’s
resided in Pemberton, NJ for over 45 years.
    Takeko leaves behind her husband, Leonard “Sonny” Johnson and daughter,
JoAnna Mori Johnson and son in-law Robb F. Gipson of Chicago.

    Takeko loved animals so In lieu of flowers or condolence cards, please consider giving a

    Takeko’s small private funeral service will be held at Lankenau Funeral Homes in
Pemberton, NJ on Tues. January 18, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
