Stephen J. U’Glay, Age 78 years, Of Hearthstone, Pemberton Borough, passed away August 1,2018 at Cooper Medical Center Camden.
He was a native of Irvington, joined the US Army and toured Germany, Colorado and Texas. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Steve was a former resident of Toms River and resident of Burlington County for 32 years and Pemberton Borough the past 12 years.
He is a retired Optician for Invision Optics, Lumberton Plaza.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Hainesport.
In his younger years he was competitive body builder and was former Mr. New Jersey & Mr. Garden State.
Steve was preceded in death by his 1st wife Paula.
Beloved husband of Diane, dear father of Teresa Coffey & husband Steven and Lisa Alden & husband Fred, brother of Christopher U’Glay & wife Eileen, Grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 11.
Relatives and friends of Steve’s family are invited to his visitation 9:00AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday morning at The Lankenau funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM Tuesday morning at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 1603 Marne Hwy, Hainesport.
Interment with US Army Honors will be in BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, North Hanover Twp.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the MATCHDOG Rescue.
