RICARDO P. LAYSON

     Ricardo P. Layson, 92 of Browns Mills passed away on December 4, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Iloilo City, Philippines on March 3,1929.

     He loved to fish, camp, watch football (his beloved Dallas Cowboys), play Mahjong and Video Poker. Ricardo was passionate about telling great stories, fixing cars, and entertaining for family and friends. He was a regular “Mr. Fix-it” for all the projects he did around the house, on cars of his own and for others.
     Ricardo retired from a lengthy 20 year career in the United States Army. He was in the Korean and Vietnam War, serving multiple tours. He was proud of his service as a Veteran of our Country. In his civilian career, he then retired from Griffin Pipe Products after 20 years in maintenance.
     Ricardo is survived by his wife, Belen Layson; daughter, Yvonne Beckner; daughter, Rene Alonso;
daughter, Teressa Medina(Carlos); son, Duane Layson(Debera); son, Reynaldo Layson(Christina); son,
Tommy Layson; daughter, Maria Mays(Cecil); son, Richard Layson(Lynda); daughter, Lorie Greene(Ron)
and preceded in death by son, Russell Layson(Lisa). Ricardo has numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren, all close in heart.

     Viewing will be held at Lankenau Funeral home, 31 Elizabeth Street, Pemberton, NJ 08069 Friday,
December 10, 2021 from 9:00 am – 10:45 am. Service will be held at St Ann’s Church, 22 Trenton Road,
Browns Mills, NJ 08015 at 11:30 am, Friday, December 10, 2021. Repass to immediately follow.
