Paul J. Tuliano of Browns Mills, Pemberton Twp. age 93 years passed away October 9th,2018 at the Samaritan Hospice Unit, Virtua Hospital ,Mount Holly.
He was a native of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He joined the Army Air Corp. in 1943 serving in WWII until his discharge in 1945. In 1948 Paul joined the Air Force Reserve and served until his retirement in 1986 as a Chief Warrant Officer. He was called back to active duty during the Pueblo Conflict.
Paul went to work for the Department of Defense at Fort Devon, MA and then transferred to Fort Dix and last the Philadelphia Naval Yard where he was a Property Disposal Officer for 34 years. He also served as a Civilian Employee for the Department of Defense in Vietnam
He relocated to Pemberton in 1964.
He was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Browns Mills where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. He also was Past President of The Pemberton Rotary Club, former Chairman of the Pemberton Twp. Zoning Board and served as a Volunteer Income Tax Preparer for the AARP for 26 years.
Paul was a very kind and caring man who loved to help others especially the Veterans.
For 11 years he was the Director and Producer of the Cable TV Show the Veterans View Point.
He was a member and Past Commander of the DAV Chapter #27 and also Past State Commander of the NJ State Disabled American Veterans.
He also was a member of the Eden Stanley American Legion Post # 294 and the Browns Mill Memorial VFW Post # 6805.
Paul was a Sky Diver and did his first Jump at 85 and his last jump at 90.
Needless to say he was a man who loved life and serving others.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hilda and his grandson Paul J. Tuliano 3rd.
Beloved father of Ann Busselait , Paul J. Tuliano Jr. & wife Dawn, Dominic Tuliano & wife Lisa and Theresa Hubbell, dear brother of Edward Tuliano , grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of many.
Relatives and friends of Paul’s family are invited to his viewing and visitation 9:00 to 11:00 AM Wedneday morning, October 17th at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 Noon , Wednesday, October 17th at St., Ann’s Church 22A Trenton Road, Browns Mills.
Interment with Air Force Honors will be in BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, North Hanover Twp.
