Paul was born in Neptune, NJ and grew up in Colts Neck and Tinton Falls.  He lived in Eatontown for many years before moving to Browns Mills NJ.

Paul excelled as a foreman in woodworking and machine shops until his retirement, and was a disabled veteran who served his country in the National Guard. In his personal life, he was a longtime nudist, an adventurous explorer, and a performer. He traveled extensively, especially throughout the American West and U.S. national parks. He was a nature and animal lover, a devotee and accomplished singer of doo-wop music, a fan of old western movies, a popular karaoke singer and dancer, and a model.  He composed songs and imaginative stories. He was known to many by his nicknames: Cowboy Paul, Supermodel Paul and Mr. Entertainment. 

Paul is survived by his devoted and loving fiancé/partner Margaret Plowman, his loving sister Evelyn Hampton and brother-in-law Bob Hampton, his nieces Kristin and Karen Hampton, cousins Alexis Rogel, Eddie, Pat and Kevin McMullen, his aunt Angie McMullen, and several close friends.

Paul had a big heart, a unique personality, and he lived life to the fullest. He will be missed terribly by those who were lucky enough to know and care for him, and he will always remain in their hearts.
