PATRICIA N. (Neville) CHANT

     Patricia N. Chant (nee Neville) passed away on December 25, 2022 at Riverview Estates, in Riverton, NJ.

     Pat was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Gaul) and Harold Neville of Delanco. She was 97 years old. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry R. Chant. Pat grew up in Delanco in her early years, but her Father’s job then transferred them to Jersey City where she completed her high school education. But her heart was truly set in Delanco where she met “Hap” working in her Aunt and Uncle’s store in Delanco. In 1947 they married and lived on The Farm where Hap taught his “city” wife to drive a tractor and later tend to their Farm stand in Delanco.

     Pat was a fun loving Mother to her daughters, Sandra Iwanicki (Ed Iwanicki, deceased) and Suzanne Avery (Bill Avery).She was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was an excellent seamstress, loved to read and go out to lunch and shop. Pat was employed for the Burlington County Times for over 25 years where she made many friends. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church, Beverly.

     A  visitation for Pat will be held at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside on Tuesday, January 3rd, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM.  Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington after services.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Church, 158 Warren St., Beverly, NJ 08010.
