OLGA IRIS (Burgos) ZEFFIRO

     Olga Iris Zeffiro of Browns Mills, NJ passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025 at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ, at the age of 75.

     She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and had been a resident of Pemberton Township since 1963. Olga was a graduate of Pemberton Township High School, Class of 1970, and worked as an ESL aid at the Pemberton Township Schools until retiring.

     She enjoyed day trips to Atlantic City and Longwood Gardens, annual vacations to Las Vegas with her extended family, and playing dominoes weekly with her dear friends, Pete and Joanne Gordon and Mony Johnston. Her passions were sewing, cooking, crossword puzzles and working in her beautiful garden.

     Olga was preceded in death by her siblings, Milagros Torres, Hiram Burgos, Ivette Niedbalski and Nora Burgos.

     She is survived by her adoring husband of 52 years, James Zeffiro, her daughters, Lisa Fickenscher (Jeffrey) and Jennifer Cunningham (David); and her grandchildren Kaitlyn Fickenscher, Gabriel Cunningham, Michael Cunningham and Angelina Cunningham; as well as her in-laws, Brenda Zeffiro, Anthony Zeffiro, Thomas Zeffiro and Yvonne Rovasio.

     There will be a visitation for Olga’s family and friends on Friday evening, June 27, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth Street, Pemberton Borough followed by Olga's Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.
