MURRAY J. ("Jack") La POINT

     Murray J. LaPoint, "Jack" age 82 years, passed away on November 3, 2022 under the comfort care of Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly.
     A native of Waddington, NY, he came to New Jersey after serving in the US Army. He retired as plant manager from Mohawk Labs, Monmouth Junction after 45 years of employment in New Jersey. In his 20's he was known as a shuffleboard champion. He was a proud fan of the Green Bay Packers, Phildelphia Phillies and the Montreal Canadians.
     Jack was preceded in death by his wife Doris J., son Jonathan LaPoint; 7 sisters, Merri Beth, Sally, Nancy, Mary Lou ,Cynthia, Martha & Diane; 3 brothers, Bill, Dean & Mark.
     He is survived by son Murray J. LaPoint Jr. & his wife Sandra; 3 grandchildred Christine, Brittany & Jonathan; 5 stepchildren Dennis Moore (wife Janet), Cheryl L. Errice, David Moore (wife Susan), Thomas Moore (wife Lisa) and Nancy Tassi; 3 great-granchildren Hailey, James & Hannah; 11 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great grandchildren; a sister Judith Exware of Waddington, NY and many nieces & nephews.
     Viewing and visitation at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton, NJ 08068 on Tuesday, November 8, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM followed by funeral services at 1 PM. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hainesport.
