LAWRENCE J. ("Larry") SMITH

     Lawrence “Larry” J Smith of Delanco, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday September 21, 2024, at the age of 81, surround by his loving family by his side. 

     Larry was born on January 3, 1943, in Queens, New York. He worked for Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia, PA prior to retirement. In his free time, Larry carried his New York heritage throughout his life by rooting for the New York Mets and the New York Jets. He also was a die-hard Elvis fan and would sing along to any of Elvis’s songs any chance he could get. Larry was always super competitive, and his two main hobbies were playing horseshoes and any type of card games, but most specifically Caribbean stud poker. Larry was also an avid collector and constantly adding to his coin collection and his stamp collection. He also loved to take care of his yard, spending most of his retired life tending to the landscaping around his home. 

     Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sharon, of 33 years, his sister Delores Gaudet his son Patrick and grandson Christian, his son Bobby, his daughter Kimberlie (Mark), grandsons Christopher, Mark (Casey), his great granddaughter Ava and his loving dog, Carlie.
