Judith E. Locket (Winner), of Southampton/Leisuretowne, was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend who passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of January 3, 2026, surrounded by her son and granddaughter. She was born on April 11, 1940, and lived a life filled with deep love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those she cared for until her passing at the age of 85.
Judy had a gentle spirit and a generous heart. She always gave freely of herself, always placing family first and making others feel safe, valued, and loved. Her kindness was felt in the little things—her listening ear, her comforting presence, and the way she showed up again and again for the people who mattered most to her. She was all about love and was the type of person who always cared and prayed for others.
Judy was a steady source of love, support, and encouragement with all people that she interacted with. Judy found her joy in caring for others and took great pride in her role as a parent and a grandmother. Her love was constant, her guidance sincere, and her presence a true gift.
Those who knew Judy will remember her warmth, her resilience, and the dynamic way she made people feel at home simply by being herself. Though she will be deeply missed, her love lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her, especially her family. The love of family simply cannot be understated with Judy.
Judy was born in Roebling, NJ and graduated from Florence High School in 1958. She spent her career working as a secretary for CF&I Corp, Stepan Chemical, and retired from Sybron Chemical Corporation. She was able to enjoy her time by the side of her husband being a doting grandmother. She was very active in the Roebling VFW Post #8838 Ladies Auxiliary where she held many offices including President. She later joined the Civic League Association at Leisuretowne where she served for many years
She is survived by her son, James Southard (Melissa) of Riverside, Grandchildren Melanie, Matthew, Daniel, and Jennifer, and her sister Paula Maugeri of Burlington and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. She was predeceased by her parents Elsie and Melvin Winner of Roebling and her husband George Locket of Southampton.
