JOHN JAY PENNELL

    John Jay Pennell of Delran, age 92 years, passed away January 16, 2022 at Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly.
    Born in Riverside he was a lifelong resident of Riverside, Delanco and Delran.He retired from Yates Electronics, Moorestown.
    John was an exempt Fireman and member of the Washington Fire Co. #1, Delanco and also the Riverside Fire Co. He was a Mason and a member of the Jersey Joes.
    Beloved husband of the late Daisy Mae who died in 1998.
    John is survived by his son John H. Pennell & wife Marcia and daughter Suzanne J. Convery & husband David , 2 grandchildren Elyse Viana and Anna Egan, brother Robert Pennell and sister Doris Lynch.
    There will be a viewing and visitation for John on Monday morning 9:30 to 11:00 AM at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside followed by his funeral service at 11:00 AM.
    Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Riverside Fire Co. or the Washington Fire Co. # 1, Delanco.
