JOHN R. MARA

  
     John R. Mara,56 of Browns Mills passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at home.  John was born on August 25, 1965 in Staten Island, New York to the late James and Shirley Mara.  John was a self employed heating and air conditioning extraordinaire, he could fix and problem solve anything. He was well known for his expertise with HVAC and gas and anything else you would ask him to repair.  
     John was predeceased by his brother Jimmy and  is survived by his sisters, Deborah Dennis, Lisa Ross (Brian); his step-children, Jesse Metzler, Terry Weins, Zane Cross and Rachel Cross; step-grandchildren, Jesse Metzler, Logan Metzler Zackary Metzler and Mason Weins; nieces and nephews, Victoria Dennis, Christopher Dennis (Marina), Jennifer Mara (Kayn), Jimmy Mara, Joshua Mara, Jake Ross and Jocelyn Ross.  John also leaves behind many close friends that were family to him, a forever bond.

     John enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, quad riding and watching NASCAR.. He loved to have a good time and enjoyed every minute with his friends and family.  He lived life to the fullest his way.  John had a smile that could charm anyone and always had a good story to tell.  He will be missed by all who knew him. 

     A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home and then burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery  , 217 Odd Fellows Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068
