JOHN CRAWFORD

     John Crawford, age 72, of Woodland Township, NJ passed away at home May 18th, with his beloved wife of 40 years at his bedside.

     The youngest son of Edgar and Mary Crawford, John was born in Baldwin, NY. John was educated at Stella-Niagara Education in Niagara, NY and was a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School, Class of 1970. John graduated Rutgers University (Livingston) Class of 1975, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

     After graduating college and residing in Hoboken, NJ, he worked as a NYC cab driver and as General Manager for a Burger King franchisee. Prior to retiring, John was employed as an Operations Manager for New Jersey Lawyers Service, in Cherry Hill, NJ.

     John had special love for NYC, and in particular anything film related. He had minored in film studies while in college. As a hobby, John enjoyed viewing and writing movie reviews, some published on HKmdb and in Troma magazine. A sports fan, he enjoyed following the NY Yankees and Knicks. Together he and his wife attended many NASCAR races.

     John is survived by his wife, Elaine (Bolk), his fantastic son John Jr. and wife Tracy. Loving PopPop to Elizabeth Marie, Jackson Thomas and Lucy Jane. Brother in law Edward Bolk and wife Nancy.

     John was predeceased by his daughter Caitlin Elizabeth, brothers Edgar and Jay, and his parents.

     John was a member of Holy Eucharist Church in Tabernacle. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Friday, May 24th, 10:00 to 11:00 am at The Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Friday.

     Interment will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
