Janice A. Thompson, age 93, of Delran passed away peacefully Monday evening, November 6th, in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born September 9th, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. Daughter of Naomi and Harry Siglin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Theodore Thompson, son Paul Thompson, daughter Valerie Kelly-Oliver, and sister Jean Frankenfield. She was survived by her grandchildren Kristina Koerting (David) Jennifer Warowitz (Elli), Emma Oliver, son in law James Oliver, great granddaughter Taylor Koerting, nieces Laurie Murphy (Pat) and Wendy Larson (Gordon), great niece Amanda Murphy and great nephew Seth Larson (Apatcha Chong).
Janice was a devoted, lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church playing a hand in many things but what she held closest to her heart were many years of being superintendent of the Sunday school, church treasurer, member of the Womens’ Auxiliary and a member of Music and Worship.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 10 am until 11:45 am at Zion Lutheran Church in Riverside, immediately followed by church service and burial at Lakeview.
Janice loved reading. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riverside Public Library.
