Helen P. Davis

      Helen P. Davis, Age 93 years of Wake Forest, NC passed away April 13, 2018 at home with her family by her side.

She was a native of Pemberton, resident of Proctor, WV from 1983 until 2012 and then moved to Wake Forest, NC.

       She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pemberton, and attended Proctor Christian Church, Proctor WV for 30 years and was a former member of the Red Hats.

     Helen loved cooking, making pies and was a wonderful mother.

     She was preceded in death by her husband John J. Davis in 1963.

     Beloved mother of James J. Davis & wife Norma Jean and Barbara A. Sprague and her late husband Howard, sister of Allen J. Gifford, devoted grandmother of Barbara, Beth and Heather and great grandmother of 6.

     Relatives and friends of Helen’s family are invited to her funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday morning at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough where there will be a viewing from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

     Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton Borough.
