Helen L. (Brass) Baumgartner

   Helen L. Baumgartner  ( Nee Brass) age 85 years of Browns Mills, NJ passed away on July 27^th peacefully at home. She was born in Cleveland where she worked as a telephone operator. She was an Air Force bride and traveled to Alaska and the Phillippines before settling in New Jersey. She worked at McGuire AFB in payroll and was a member of the Cookstown VFW Post  Women’s Auxiliary. She loved swimming in her pool with her family, playing games and doing puzzles. She adored her many dogs.

       She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Joseph H. Baumgartner in 2007. She is survived by her son Joseph E. Baumgartner & wife Suebeth of Califon, daughter JoEllen M. Schmidt & husband Carl of Pittsgrove, son Jon A Baumgartner & wife Tina of Juliustown, grandchildren Joshua & Jacob Hanscom, Yvonne Burgess & husband Don, Cari & Kristy Baumgartner and great grandchildren  Jordan, Emma & Aubrey.

         There will be a visitation of Thursday  August 1^st from noon to 1:30 Pm at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills followed by a short service at 1:30 PM

        In lieu of flower s memorial contributions may be made to  St.Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
