GERALDINE COLAN

     Geraldine Colan , affectionately known as Grammy, was born to Bernard and Mary Colan on June 1,1950, and passed away on Saturday , February 1, 2025.

     She grew up in Browns Mills and graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 1970.  Geri worked at Deborah Heart and Lung Center as a nurses aide for over 25 yrs , spending many of those years in the ICU and PICU.

     Geri was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses on July 25, 1998, and was a beloved member of the Pemberton Congregation. She enjoyed going to her meetings at the Kingdom Hall, and when she couldn’t be there in person she enjoyed spending time on Zoom meetings with her friends .When she couldn’t no longer go from door to door to speak about her hope for a coming paradise , she spent many hours over the phone sharing her favorite scripture Revelation 21:3&4.

     Geri loved people and enjoyed caring for others. She was an avid QVC shopper and enjoyed sharing gifts with her family and friends. She loved watching football and was a loyal Washington Redskins (commanders) fan.

     She is preceded in death by her brothers , Bernard, Hugh, and George.

     She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Michelle (Anthony); grandchildren Aylea and Anthony(Daniela);great grandchildren Adrielle, Alaiya, Lou, and Luciana;her sister Mary(Frank );many loving nieces and nephews; dear family members Patricia(Wendell) , Christina (Marques), Lashawn, Sean, Azsha, Wendell Jr, Tahria, Patrick, and Jordan, and many dear friends who look forward to seeing her again when all is new, just around the corner.

     Services will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 649 Lakehurst Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015 on February 22, 2025, Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
