Eugene Roy George Jr was born on October 18, 1948, and he sadly passed on April 27, 2023. He is survived by his Wife, Chaleo George, 4 Children, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Sisters, and 1 Brother. Preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Son, and Grandson.
Eugene proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a Master Sargent. Towards the end of his service, he attended school to pursue his dream of locksmithing. In 1983, he opened George’s Lock & Security Service and dedicated himself to his business. During his career he accomplished being President and Charter member of the South Jersey Locksmith Association. He also was a part of the Masonic Lodge in New York for 46 years. For his community, he even gave his time to be the President of the Presidential Lakes Civil Association.
During his life, he cared endlessly about his family & business. Each minute was ensuring everyone and everything was OK, nothing out of order. He made numerous charitable donations to multiple organizations and would give his helping hand to anyone he could.
Relatives and friends of Eugene's family are invited to his viewing and visitation at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough, NJ 08068 on May 2nd, Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning 10:15 AM at the funeral home. The interment with military honors will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, N. Hanover Twp., NJ at 11:30 AM.
The reception will follow at the Messiah Lutheran Brethren Church in Presidential Lakes, 530 Virginia Drive, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 at 1:00 PM..
