Our dear Mother, Ethel Falato Lewis sadly passed on July 28th, 2024 at the age of 77. She was an amazing Mother who was always there when we needed her the most, always offering support, wisdom, and never ending love.
Ethel was born March 28th, 1947 to Adele and Eugene "Pep" Falato. She was a 1965 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School. As she moved on after graduation she worked as the ticket manager and secretary for the Jersey Devils of Cherry Hill in the late 60's and then for the Philadelphia Firebirds in the mid 70's. She then moved on and finished her working career as the Food Service secretary and then the Maintenance secretary for the State of NJ at NLDC. Ethel retired from there with well over 20 years of service.
Her hobbies were needlepoint, reading and she was an avid sports fan.
She loved her Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers and never missed a game, but the thing she loved the most was spending time with her family.
Ethel leaves behind her children Rebecca (Jonnelly) Jackson, Casey (Amber) Lewis, and Harry Lewis. Her brothers Robert (Joann) Falato and Ralph "Flick" (Beth) Falato. Her grandchildren Nicholas, Tyler, Myranda, JJ, Chanel, Brett and his soon to be little sister Vivian, Tiffany, Xavier, and Sam. Three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Ethel brought sunshine, love, and positivity to everyone she came into contact with. She will be deeply missed.
Ethel will be cremated and her services will be Wednesday, August 7th from 5pm-7pm at Lankenau funeral home in Pemberton Borough.
