ERICA "Rickie" (Riebe) STICKEL

     With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Erica “Rickie” Stickel (née Riebe) on August 6, 2025, just days before her 79th birthday. A devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend, Rickie lived a life rooted in compassion, creativity, and service to others.

     Rickie grew up with a strong sense of family and purpose. She graduated from Riverside High School, where she met the love of her life, Lou Stickel. Their bond grew into a marriage of 57 beautiful years, filled with love, laughter, and partnership.

     Rickie pursued her calling in healthcare by earning her nursing degree from Mountainside Nursing School, and she spent her career caring for others with the same warmth and grace she brought to her family and friends.

     Rickie and Lou made their home in Marlton, where they raised their three children: Laura Stickel (married to Andrew Kratz), Amy Worrell (married to Randy Worrell), and Scott Stickel (married to Lisa Stickel). She was a proud and adoring grandmother to eight grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Brock, Bailey, Colton and Mason Worrell, Kyle and Kevin Stickel, Aaliyah and Jade Phillips. She is also survived by her beloved brother, John Riebe. 

     A gifted quilter and seamstress, Rickie poured love into every stitch. Her home was filled with handmade treasures, comforting meals, and the welcoming spirit she was known for. Her homemade desserts and soups never disappointed.

     Rickie’s legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and quiet strength. She touched the lives of many, not only through her work in nursing but also through the love she gave freely to her family and friends.  She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

     Visitation for Rickie's family and friends will be held at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside, NJ 08075 on August 13, 2025, Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on August 14, 2025, Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon followed by Rickie's Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon.  The final interment will be held privately.

     In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Evesham Fire-Rescue, 984 Tuckerton Rd., Suite 205, Marlton, NJ 08053.
