ELFRIEDE M. (Haid) SIMPSON

March 23, 1934 ~ October 3, 2021 (age 87)

Obituary

Elfriede Maria Simpson was born on March 23, 1934 in  Ostheim Germany, the daughter of Johann Haid and Ella Ziegler.
Elfriede met her husband President Simpson while he was in the Army stationed in Bad Kissengen, Germany.  He brought her to the United States  soon after they were married.
One of Elfriede's first jobs was serving as a waitress in the NCO Club on McGuire Air Force Base, NJ.  The next job she took was working in a penicillin factory as an inspector with her little sister Erika.  The last job in Elfriede's career was when she worked at Six Flags Great Adventure as a ride operator for the carousel.  She worked there for many years with her sister until her retirement.
Deda as she was affectionately called by her nieces and nephews loved playing bingo, shopping and dining out all with her little sister, as she would often say.
Years later Elfriede met the love of her life Mohammed Didin whom she called her "Shotzy".  They stayed together until Elfriede's heavenly homecoming on October 3, 2021.
She is survived by her one and only sister Erika J. Bullock, her loving niece Tanya Brown (Willi), nephews Barry  Bullock (Irma) & Terry Bullock (Tammy), great nephews William Brown (Emily) & Timothy Brown (Emery) and her great nieces Danyela Brown (Joe) & Briana Bullock.
