Donald E. Caldwell, "Peppy", age 84 years, of Cinnaminson passed away peacefully with his loving wife and daughter by his side at Care One Moorestown on December 31, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Marie; daughter Christine Gross; son Donald E. Caldwell, Jr (Jennifer); son Kevin S. Caldwell (Rebecca), seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Franklin "Jack" Caldwell (Patricia), sister Marianne Ptaszenski (Michael), sister Patricia Collinsworth and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother John Caldwell, sister Eleanor Caldwell, brother Robert Caldwell and sister Evelyn Conti.
Donald was born in Philadelphia to Franklin M. Caldwell and Evelyn Mayer and was raised in Riverside, NJ. He graduated from Riverside High School Class of 1958. He was a US Army Veteran: 1965 to 1968. He was a dedicated employee at PSE&G Moorestown for 45 years. He was a member of St Charles Borromeo Church.
His life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience. He also possessed an unparalleled work ethic which he has passed onto his three children. Everyone who knew him knew how much he loved going to the casinos and playing Bingo. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Donald's viewing and visitation on Friday, January 5, 2024 at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside, NJ 08075 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on January 6, 2024, Saturday 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. The interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Rt-130 N, Cinnaminson, NJ.
