Chong Ki Busby, age 78 years, of Pemberton Twp., was a cherished mother and friend, born in Uiseng-gun North Gyeongsang Province, Korea. She left her life in Korea to marry her husband, Roger Busby, a military man, and build a new life in America.
She retired from her own business, Hanover Cleaners in Wrightstown, NJ, where she poured her heart into sewing. Her kitchen was a haven for Korean dishes and her garden bloomed with care. A strong woman, her resilience shone in all she did and her deep dedication to the Lord guided her life.
She went home to the Lord on July 12, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was proceeded in death by her husband Roger Busby in 1997. She is survived by her children, Clarence Busby and Susan Exley, her beloved grandsons, Davis Smith and Nathaniel Exley and her brother and sisters in Korea.
The viewing and visitation for family and friends of Chong will be held at the Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough, NJ, on July 23, 2025, Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 PM. Services will follow at 1 PM.
The interment will be in Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, North Hanover Twp., NJ on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 PM.
