Charles Arthur Niedbalski, was born on January 14, 1951, at Fort Dix, NJ and died of natural causes at age 72 years on October 10, 2023, peacefully with his family at home in Sewell, NJ.
He grew up, lived, and created a life for himself with his late wife, Ivette Niedbalski, and two sons in Pemberton Township, NJ. Charlie served in the U.S. Navy for a few years aboard the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. Charlie then dedicated his career to serving and protecting the community as a police officer at Edgewater Park Police Department, where he eventually retired as Chief of Police.
Charlie was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, family man, friend, and comrade. Charlie was a steadfast, committed, and reliable man to many. Still, he reserved and revealed great affection to his eight surviving grandchildren, between the ages of twenty eight and ten. He is survived by Steven Niedbalski, dutiful son and caregiver during his remaining three years, and his wife. He was also survived by his son Brian Niedbalski and his wife and survived by his brother Robert Niedbalski.
In keeping with his nature, the funeral service is private; he will be laid to rest alongside his wife at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, North Hanover Twp., NJ.
