Brian Joseph Willitts, age 59, passed away at his home on March 27, 2023. Brian dealt with difficult health issues, but he was “Badass” and fought hard through everything that was thrown at him.
Brian is survived by his mother, Betty Joe Willitts. He was a sibling to two brothers, Earl Paul Willitts Jr. and Craig Kane Willitts and his sister, Dawn Elizabeth Smith. He also has a nephew Will Yanni Smith.
Brian worked at Trap Rock for many years, who was a great employer. Trap Rock was able to keep Brian working with different positions for many years. The family is very grateful for all of the accommodations Trap Rock has given Brian to enable him to stay employed despite his disability.
One of Brian’s great accomplishments was bowling that 299!! He still got the 300 ring though! Brian also loved to DJ and see everyone have a good time. In 2013 he won Best Tasting for his Chili in the Fire and Ice Carnival. He could really make some great Chili. These times with Brian will be greatly missed.
There will be a graveside ceremony held on Wednesday, April 5th at 2:00 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Juliustown Road, Pemberton, NJ. If you would like to say your final farewell or be there to support the family, we welcome you to join us there.
Clinging Smile
Hello, I’m here to brighten your day
If you want to smile, I’ll lead the way
When things look bleak, and the day gets long
Just give me a shake and sing your favorite song
A smile should very soon appear
And you will have nothing to fear
When you’re happy and having fun
The job will be easier to get done
And when the day is over, and you call it quits
You will still have peace of mind, and not be in the pits
I’m a Clinging Smile, here to help brighten your day
Just give me a smile and a shake, and I’ll lead the way.
