She is predeceased by her amazing brother Maurice (Dicey) Elbertson. She is survived by her five children Debra Watson (Vern) Missouri, Ronald Buchanan (SueAnne) New Mexico, Denise Lane, Kimberly Ratcliff Chatsworth (predeceased Martin), Dawn Emmons (Rick) Chatsworth. She is the loving Grandmother of 17 Grandchildren and 32 Great Grandchildren each and every one are her pride and joy. Bettie is also survived by her 2 Stepdaughters Deb (Steve) Vandzura, Sharon Trombly Clark, and predeceased by Jill Avis. Bettie also had 7 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren. She left a bountiful amount of love that will live in the hearts of each family member they will carry forth with them her unconditional passion of “loving big and only taking one day at time”.
Bettie is a life long resident of Pemberton Township. In her earlier years she was a business owner with her husband in which they owned Honda of Pemberton. She later went on to work for Pemberton Township School District. After that Bettie dedicated her life and gift as a bookkeeper to M&T Getty in Browns Mills for over 30 years. She was also part owner of The Hedger House in Chatsworth from 1999 until 2006. For those that had a chance to meet her knew they were always greeted with a smile or helping hand in any aspect of her careers.
