BARBARA FLORENCE (Hills) O'DONNELL

     Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, Barbara Florence O’Donnell (Hills) formally, Browns Mills, NJ, passed away September 9, 2025. She was born on August 21, 1943, in Bridesburg Philadelphia to Thomas Hills and Marie Hills (Bofinger) with 6 sisters.

     She moved to New Jersey in 1974 where she worked for the New Lisbon Developmental Center for many years until her retirement. She had a passion for crocheting, coloring, cooking, and spending time with her family.

     She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Francis O’Donnell Sr. 2 sisters, Beverly Soskia and Marie Ollilia, and her son, Patrick Michael O’Donnell.

     Barbara was the heart of her home and family. She raised 4 children. She is survived by her children, Thomas Francis O’Donnell Jr (Rebecca), Timothy Kevin O’Donnell, and Barbara Ann Trout (Christopher). She had 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren she adored.

     A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm, at First Baptist Church of Mt Holly, 1341 Woodlane Rd., Eastampton, NJ. Barbara will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
