Amalia (Diaz) Meierdiercks

     Amalia Diaz Meierdiercks of Browns Mills, age 88 years, passed away December 27 , 2018 at home with her family by her side.

     She was a native of Spain and moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico due to the Spanish Civil War. Then in 1956 she moved to the United States settling in Browns Mills in 1960.

   Amalia was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

   She was a member of St. Ann’s Church, Browns Mills and the Browns Mills Improvement Association.

   Her greatest love was being with her family and friends.

  Amalia was preceded in death by her husband Edward  A.( Ret. Major US Army) and her son Edward who passed away in 2000.

       Beloved mother of Shela  Meierdiercks , dear grandmother of her handsome grandson  Michael E. Meierdiercks and wife Litera, and devoted great grandmother of Brianna.

    There will be a viewing and visitation for Amalia 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening and 9:00 to 10:00 AM Friday morning at the Lankenau Funeral Home, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough where her funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday morning.

     Interment will be private at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton Borough.
