Alva V. (Young) Gramlich

      Alva Vivian Gramlich (Young), age 93, passed away on September 5, 2020 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly NJ. She was predeceased by her husband (Frank J. Gramlich III) .
      Alva was a native of Jersey City, NJ and later moved to Levittown, Pa. From there she and her husband Frank established a home in Leisure Towne, Southampton NJ and later became a resident of the Masonic Village of Burlington, NJ.
      Alva favorite foods were steak, ice cream , and chocolate covered pretzels.
      A favorite pastime was playing her favorite card game “SKIP-O”.
      During her younger years, she especially enjoyed her day trips to the Jersey shore where the seagulls were just waiting for those cheez crackers.

      Alva was the beloved wife of the late Frank J Gramlich (III) for over 70 years, mother of Frank J. Gramlich (IIII),Elaine M. Gramlich, Robert A.Gramlich, Jay C. Gramlich, and Thomas W. Gramlich.Alva was also a grandmother and great grandmother of many.

      Relatives and friends of Alva’s family are invited to her viewing and visitation on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 1-2:30 PM at the Lankenau Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Vincentown, NJ.08088. Funeral services will follow immediately thereafter. Cremation will be private.
      Internment of her ashes will be at a later date at the Brigadier General William C.Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.
