Alice Day Williams of Mount Laurel, age 91 years, passed away March 4,2018 at home with her family by her side.
She was a native of Alton, Illinois, resident of Burlington County since the 1940’s and Mount Laurel since 1961.
Alice was a member of the Mount Laurel Evangelical Free Church and former member of the Cathedral in the Woods, Medford Lakes and Dobbins Memorial United Methodist Church, Delanco. She also was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s, Medford Lakes Chapter.
She was a homemaker, loved her home and was a devoted mother, grandmother & great grandmother.
Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert E. Williams and daughter Carol A. Oppermann.
Beloved mother of David R. Williams, Shirley J. Eckert & husband Roy, Roger A. Williams & wife Kay and Gary M. Williams, devoted grandmother of Tina Bunchuk, Monica Harrison, John Oppermann, Anthony Oppermann & wife Katie, Rachael Williams & Josh Williams and great grandmother of 10.
Relatives and friends of Alice’s family are invited to attend her viewing and visitation 7:00 to 9:00 PM Friday evening and 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday morning at The Lankenau & Van Newenhizen Funeral Home, 334 Chester Ave., Moorestown where her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Donor’s favorite Charity.
