Ann E. DiDonato of Browns Mills, NJ passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Aspen Hills in Pemberton Township.
Born August 21, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA to Philip and Anna Hort, Ann grew up enjoying the summers on the lakes of Pemberton Township. It was there on the lake that she met the love of her life, Nicholas “Dutch” DiDonato, also of Philadelphia, PA. Together they raised 2 daughters and worked side by side at their Tax Accounting business for over 30 years. Ann and Dutch enjoyed fishing at the Jersey shore and hunting at their cabin in the Allegheny mountains of PA until his passing in 1998.Ann was the heart and soul of her family, always ready with a beautiful smile, generous heart and bountiful table where family and friends always gathered, especially for her spaghetti “gravy”. Ann was always at her best when family gathered and was especially happy and proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ann is survived by her daughters Susan Cush her late husband Joseph Cush, Linda Dewey and her husband Daniel Dewey, grandchildren Rajan Jugran (Kamilah Clarke), the late Kristi Fontanilla (Arnold), Maya Jugran (Anthony Dawson), Michael Cush (Christina), and Daniel Dewey, Jr. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Joseph and Nicholas Fontanilla, Madelyn and Jacob Cush and Brooks and Reese Madison. Also, Ann’s adoptive family Andrew and Roberta Wallace and her caregivers for the past several years, Camille Massey and Frances Fenton.
Relatives and friends are invited to The Lankenau Funeral Home at 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton Borough, NJ 08068 on Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The service will follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment at 1:30 PM will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, North Hanover Twp., NJ .
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s memory to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
