With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father Eddie Mick. He passed away at the age of 57 years, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in his final moments at home on January 9th, 2025.
Eddie was born in Mt. Holly, NJ on January 13, 1967 and lived in Browns Mills all his life. He worked for Mark Young as a plumber and Joe Cline doing roofing and home construction improvements.
Eddie is predeceased by his mother Anna May Lawton, father Elmer “Allen” Mick, sisters’ Wanda and Sandra Mick and his wife Susan Mick. He is survived by his children Allen Mick, Jr. and Amber(Jamal) Hunt, stepdaughter Melissa Katana and two sisters’ Leslie Anderson and Karen Lawton.
Eddie was passionate about country music, hunting, wheeling and all things nascar. He always found joy in spending time with his family and friends while enjoying a cold beer. He had a radiant personality and generous nature that warmed the hearts of all who encountered him. He was consistently seeking to spread joy wherever he went. Eddie’s memories will continue to tell stories while spreading laughter, passion and happiness. His immense humor will be cherished and missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The visitation for Eddie's family and friends will be held at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Rd. Browns Mills, NJ 08015 on January 24, 2025, Friday morning from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon followed by his Memorial Service at 12 Noon.
