Elinore J. Schoenhofer of Mount Laurel passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010. She was 84.

Elinore was a native of Stroudsburg, Pa. She graduated with a nursing degree from the Women''s Hospital of Philadelphia, and a bachelor''s degree from Trenton State College.

She was a resident of Delanco since 1953, moving in with her son, David, two years ago.

Elinore was a retired school nurse for Delanco Public Schools, retiring in 1986, after 30 years of service.

She was a member of the Burlington County School Nurses Association, and the Delanco Women''s Club.

Elinore was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Joseph''s Church, Beverly, where she was a former CCD teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick; and grandson, Andrew. She was the beloved mother of David E. Schoenhofer and his wife, Donna, of Mount Laurel, Janet Dahms and her husband, Stephen, of Delanco, Thomas Schoenhofer and his wife, Stacy, of Warminster, Pa., and Peggy Wenner and her husband, Robert, of Mount Laurel; the dear sister of Audrey Hoffman of Florence; the devoted grandmother of David and Jeffrey Schoenhofer, Nicole and Michael Dahms, Brittany and Michael, and Michael and Megan Wenner; and great-grandmother of Alexis, Andrew J., Andrew D., Jonathan, Abigail and Brady.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to Elinore''s visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lankenau Funeral Home, 303 Bridgeboro St., Riverside. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph''s Church, Warren Street, Beverly. Interment will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moorestown Visiting Nurses Association, 300 Harper Dr., Moorestown, NJ 08057
