Alexander "Al" Henry Duhnoski Jr., of Browns Mills, NJ, age 86 years, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2024. He was born on September 24, 1937, in Mineola, NY. Al served in the Army Reserves.
Al dedicated his career to working at US Steel Fairless Works and proudly served as the Former Fire Chief of the Country Lakes Fire House. Outside of work, he found joy in solving Sudoku and crossword puzzles. He loved watching nascar and enjoyed camping with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Colleen, and his daughters Sharon Duhnoski-Seal, Susan DeSandre (Rob), Janet Bourden, Michele Thomas (Brian), and Jamie Johnson (Freddy). Additionally, he is survived by his 9 grandchildren (Krysta, Kendra, Tony, Josh, Hailey, Cara, Gianna, Olivia & RJ) and 7 great-grandchildren (Elaina, Olivia, Connor, Weston, Ava, Maximus, & Cruz) Sister-in-law Lois and a Brother-in-law Joe and several nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his mother Cecelia, father Alexander Sr, brother Eugene, sister Patricia, mother-in-law Mae, father-in-law Artie and brother-in-law John.
A viewing is scheduled on Friday, February 23, 2024, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 370 Lakehurst Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015, followed by Al's funeral service at 3:00 PM. The repass will be at Country Lakes Fire House.
